MORE INFORMATION REGARDING UPGRADES & RENEWALS
Media Composer users who want to upgrade their software to the latest version need to have an active Annual Upgrade & Support plan. This plan gets them access to the latest software updates as well as Avid Customer Support for a full year. At the end of the year, customers must renew their annual plan or they will not be able to continue to upgrade their software.
Media Composer Upgrade Eligibility
To upgrade to the latest version of Media Composer log into your Avid Master Account. There you can check the status of your Annual Upgrade & Support plan (under the My Products and Subscriptions section) to make sure it’s still current.
- If it is, the latest version of Media Composer software will be available for you to download and install directly from your account.
- If it isn’t current, and you are within 30 days of its expiration, you can still renew your Upgrade & Support plan.
